In 2025/2026 the Council’s precept is set at £7,000. The precept is raised to finance wide-ranging work programme including cleaning and repairing bus shelters, maintaining the public footpaths, buying new benches etc. The Council employs one part time officer which is the Clerk, and also pays contractors to carry out specialist work such as repair and maintenance, maintain the footpaths and so on.
