Mae’r amser wedi dod eto i ddechrau paratoi ar gyfer gosod Cyllideb y Cyngor ar gyfer 2026-27.\u00a0Mae gosod cyllideb gytbwys yn ofyniad cyfreithiol, ond gyda chostau cynyddol, mae’n dod yn anoddach bob blwyddyn heb gyfaddawdu ar ein gwasanaethau hanfodol.\u00a0Mae Cyngor Sir Ceredigion wedi lansio ymgyrch Ymgysylltu \u00e2’r Gyllideb i gasglu eich barn ar sut y dylai’r Cyngor wario ei arian a sut i lywio trwy\u2019r heriau ariannol sy’n ein hwynebu.\u00a0Dywedodd y Cynghorydd Bryan Davies, Arweinydd Cyngor Sir Ceredigion: “Mae gosod cyllideb gytbwys yn profi’n heriol flwyddyn ar \u00f4l blwyddyn, a hynny ar \u00f4l setliad gwael arall gan Lywodraeth Cymru ar gyfer y flwyddyn i ddod. Mae cyflawni’r gyllideb mewn ffordd sy’n cynnal ein gwasanaethau yn fater o gydbwyso, ac nid ydym am gyfaddawdu ar y gwasanaethau rydyn ni’n eu cynnig. Gyda chostau yn codi oherwydd yr argyfwng costau byw ac effaith chwyddiant, rydym ar hyn o bryd yn wynebu bwlch yn y gyllideb, ac mae cynnydd yn y Dreth Gyngor yn rhywbeth y mae’n rhaid i ni ei ystyried. Felly, hoffwn glywed gennych chi. Yn gyntaf, rhowch gynnig ar gydbwyso cyllideb y Cyngor gyda\u2019n hefelychydd cyllideb. Have your say ahead of the next Council Budget02 December 2025<\/strong>
The time has come again to start preparing for setting the Council Budget for 2026-27.Setting a balanced\u00a0budget is a legal requirement, but with rising costs, it becomes more difficult every year without compromising our essential services.Ceredigion County Council has launched a Budget Engagement exercise to gather your views on how the Council should spend its money and how to navigate the financial challenges we face.Councillor Bryan Davies, Leader of Ceredigion County Councill, said: \u201cSetting a balanced budget is proving challenging year on year, after yet another poor settlement by Welsh Government for the year ahead. Delivering the budget in a way that maintains our services is a balancing act, and we don\u2019t want to compromise on the services that we offer. With costs going up due to the cost-of-living crisis and the impact of inflation, we\u2019re currently facing a budget gap, and an increase in Council Tax is something we have to consider. So, I would like to hear from you. Firstly, have a go at balancing the Council budget with our budget simulator.
