It also demonstrates the impact of childcare costs and needs on family finances and parents\/guardians’ employment. The report generates constructive recommendations to achieve a better childcare system in Wales.\u00a0You can access the report here:\u00a0bit.ly\/3G2DAbX<\/a>\n\n\n\n\n\nThird 2023\/24 Cost of Living Payment dates announced\u00a0<\/strong>\n\n\n\n\n\nOn 13 December, the Government announced that millions of UK households will shortly get a Cost of Living Payment of \u00a3299. This payment will be made to eligible claimants on means tested benefits between Tuesday\u00a06 February<\/strong>\u00a0and Thursday\u00a022 February<\/strong>.\n\n\n\n\n\nThis is the third of three payments over the financial year totalling up to \u00a3900. Customers will receive the payments automatically. They do not need to contact DWP or do anything to receive the payment.\n\n\n\n\n\nIf a household becomes retrospectively entitled to a Cost of Living Payment or someone believes they are entitled but do not receive one, they can report this on\u00a0GOV.UK<\/a>\u00a0from the\u00a023 February<\/strong>.\n\n\n\n\n\nChildren\u2019s and baby\u2019s clothes bank\u00a0<\/strong>bank.<\/strong>\n\n\n\n\n\nFind your nearest\u00a0Baby Bundle Bank – Plant Dewi<\/a>.\nBorth Community Hub have a wide range of children\u2019s clothes for children up to the age of 11.\nThey also have some lovely books to put in as book bundles .\nIf anyone would like a bundle they just need to email\u00a0rachel1@borthcommunityhub.co.uk<\/a>\n\n\n\n\n\nHenry Smith Charity is offering grants for Children<\/strong>\n\n\n\n\n\nHenry Smith Charity \u2013 holiday grants for children<\/a>\u00a0to support recreational trips or holidays for groups of children who experience disadvantage or who have disabilities.\u00a0These must take place within the UK, and children must be aged 13 or younger.\u00a0Applications are being accepted until 19 March 2024 for trips taking place between 15 January and 30 April 2024.\n\n\n\n\n\nPeriod Poverty in Ceredigion<\/strong>\n\n\n\n\n\nCeredigion County Council in partnership with Ceredigion Youth Council aim to promote period dignity and tackle period poverty through its use of Welsh Government\u2019s Period Dignity Grant:\u00a0Period Dignity in Ceredigion – Ceredigion County Council<\/a>\u00a0which sows where people can find free period products.\n\n\n\n\n\nFree School Meals<\/strong>\n\n\n\n\n\nFree School Meals – Ceredigion County Council<\/a>\u00a0are available to eligible pupils who attend schools, on a full-time basis, which are under the jurisdiction of Ceredigion Education Authority.\n\n\n\n\n\nSchool Essentials Grant<\/strong>\n\n\n\n\n\nThe School Essentials Grant is available to children and young people eligible for free school meals (eFSM), Looked After Children (LAC), and those who are classed as No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) in year groups Reception to Year 11.
